The Fourth Industrial Revolution is already here, and education leaders have a key role to play in equipping future generations for the new world we are entering.

The rapid rise of AI and automation will render many current jobs obsolete. At the same time, the AI shift-change will open up new industries and career paths. Its rollout has highlighted how recently undervalued human-facing ‘soft skills’, such as collaboration and communication, will be those most protected from the AI revolution. So, the question now is: How do we skill today’s students for the workplaces of tomorrow?

This HP Futures Council will:

Explore how education can adapt to the challenges posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Examine new opportunities opened up by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and how education can prepare students to embrace them.
Look at ways to effectively deliver pupils the full package of digital and interpersonal skills they need to thrive in an AI-filled world
